get in shape for xc skiing?

i have 6 days… what should i do?

You should have started two months ago. You can’t do much in 6 days except get really sore. If I were you I would go to the gym twice and lift weights (you shouldn’t lift everyday because it’s crucial to let your muscles recover). Work your leg muscles, arms, back, and abs. I would also go for a couple runs of at least 30 minutes. You can also run with poles if you don’t feel too silly. This will help get you started but you won’t really get in better shape in six days, it just takes longer than that for the body to adapt to exercise.
