Where is a good place for a skiing holiday for Christmas?

Looking for a good place for a ski vacation for my family Christmas. I'm looking forward to a place that my children will think wow! and really screams Christmas. I live in Oklahoma, so the area to focus on New Mexico and Colorado. Any help is appreciated.
