Arrest warrant for me in New York?

Hi guys. I'ma Canadian (EH) and used to live in Toronto. About 10 years ago I went skiing in New York at Holiday Valley. About 5 blocks in the U.S., I stopped for speeding, because our cars and the signs list say KMH MPH — Its hard to convert. Long story short. I never paid the ticket. If I go back to New York and get stopped for any reason, one that will be taken to jail? How do I whether there is a warrant for me in New York? I live in Alberta now. If he did get stopped, I could say I'm not the guy from Toronto????
