Nordic Track is the same as the ski team?

I ask because I was told they are. Also in the Nordic Track when it counts calories burned she is, including the arm throwing things or is that extra?

Nordic Track is the brand name for ski machines (as we use the names Kleenex brand, ChapStick and Band-Aid to speak on the subject, if that mark or not). And, I'll assume that counting calories / burning includes arm movements. They will to maximize their numbers for the sake of publicity.
