Who has a recipe for Christiania Inn’s “7 grain” dish?
OMG, what a heavenly side dish1 Perfume on the tongue! This was from the Christiania Inn (if it’s still there) at Heavenly Valley ski resort in Lake Tahoe, California. I had it for years – and then lost it.
Oh, DESOLATION. It had millet, bulgar, and 5 other grains, a few seasonings, butter – you fixed it ahead and let it “ripen” in the ‘fridge. A superb side dish with heavier, more richly-seasoned foods, or a main dish for a vegan. Went GREAT with a crisp, dry light white wine, too!
I haven’t found the recipe for you yet, I have discovered a name change and new website for them, If no one can find the recipe maybe you can contact them through the information I posted below.
