Have you been to South of the Border (pedroland) before? It's just shops and galleries. We drive up and down from Virginia to Florida a couple of times a year. Savannah is a beautiful and historic city along the highway. Wmsburg is far from 95, but Fredericksburg is right at 95 and has the battlefields, George Washington-related attractions, historic district and a very passable old Towne. "St. Petersburg is also over 95 and has places of historical interest. If you take about 295 Richmond, while traveling at 95, is passed to the exit of Route 5, a panoramic road. This road leads to the magnificent estate homes, including Shirley Plantation, which are great for travel – and if this February is as hot as last February, you'll love the gardens on the River.
