I need help with a physics question. It is urgent !!!!? I need help with a physical issue. It is urgent !!!!? I'm in the alpine ski team at my school this year and I am one of the worst. I'm always the last to finish (running laps, sprints, hills, etc.) I am very weak (having trouble making 45 pounds in the bench press, but I used to do 65 years freshman year) that I really want the captain of next year. I want to get faster, stronger, lose a few pant sizes, tone, and do good on the slopes. Someone please help me reach a fitness / diet plan. I am a woman of 16 years, 5'4'', 135 lbs. Please help me. If you want to help me more than the space allows please email me at lexusright@yahoo.com
Unless I'm mistaken, it looks like your looking for a conditioning program overall fitness, this is probably something I can help, but you may want to look for something tailored specifically to what they are trying to achieve, which I imagine is down the hill faster. Further bench press probably will not help with that, where a stronger core and squats, will likely help with that. I've included below that contains some good general fitness programs as well as information on how to perform correctly. It seems you have access to a weight room so you should be all set. The important thing is make sure you are using good form and not more than that. Train a team women's tennis for several years and have had my players, with some specific things thrown sport, work routines like this. Diet is a difficult question one to answer without knowing what you eat, how often you eat, and you have access to very difficult to answer. Especially since it is in high school and are at the mercy of what ever the cafe is selling that day. The main thing is to go with common sense, avoid, not remove, as from time splurge on when needed, all sweets and sugar candy and soda that goes with being a teenager. Stick to healthy foods as much as possible, but as I said have to give yourself a treat occasionally. My personal rule of thumb is to allow yourself to eat whatever you want one day a week, I've always preferred Sunday but what ever days works for you. Also, be sure to eat enough food, once women hear the diet, for some reason that is associated with starving and fair otherwise. You need to make sure you eat enough calories or your body enters starvation mode. You should try to eat 5 or 6 small meals a day, this is back to the whole school thing, which makes it difficult. Try to bring some fruit or nuts with you, maybe a granola bar or yogurt, but the ideal would be to see if you can get some protein and carbs every two hours. This will keep the high energy level and increase your metabolism. If you have specific questions please let me know. Good Luck
