You may be old, but the sport is older. It's been a while since people have had a go at it.

Ralph Samuelson of Lake City, Minnesota, in 1922 was the first recorded person to have water skied. He was a master, even when the world was watching, he tried the sky, the flying boat, the jumps and landings. Nobody he knew better.

By 1946, he had gained much needed publicity and now it was time to introduce some rules and regulations, the need to organize the game.

1946 saw the emergence of the World Water Ski Union, creating .. In 1949, in Juan-les-Pins, the first World Ski Championships Aquatic held a total blow out event.

The people had no movement in the early 40s. Freedom was in the boat. The sand on the rope free off only after 1950 when the rope gave skiers. Minor costs and better boats have been a boon to the sport.

Demography has played an important role in this sport, countries with warmer climate have made rapid progress than those in colder areas ..

Anyone, anywhere can be a professional in the game, if only adhere to strict standards and practices.

A complete family sport, even those who are afraid of water can be a blast to see their loved ones strutting their stuff on the water, which is an ideal sport for a holiday, pumping everything inside and outside.
