IS it normal to fall down while learning snow ski?

hey, how many time did you fall down badly when you were learning snow ski?? and hard damage or hurt?
im learning ski and some days im amazing, everything controlled…sometimes i just fall down the whole day….and pain is too much…i scare of being paralysed.
im taking private lessons..and when i get speedy and out of controll my instructor loses my track and cant follow me so i scare and fall down….

Talk to your instructor, explain about your fears, you may also need to talk to the ski school supervisor. Falling is something you should do a few times as you are learning, but it should be just enough that you learn not to do that again. You need to learn speed control, that comes from learning how to shape your turns and to be able to edge your skis, balance on them and steer them through the turn. It is possible you are on too steep a slope, or you may have a basic problem in your skills. A qualified professional instructor will guide you through these needs and help you improve your skills.
Fear of falling and getting hurt is quite normal. Falling and getting seriously injured is very rare. Wear a helmet use discretion, if you are going too fast, slow down by turning your skis uphill. Ask specifics about how to slow down and how to stop.
