Eric Clapton is one of the world's most famous guitarists. He is known for her unique style of blues guitar that has earned him the nickname "Slowhand". Has Released several successful albums of hits, both alone and with the bands Cream, the Yardbirds and Derek and the Dominos.

Eric Clapton was born on March 30 1945 in Ripley, Surrey, England. Took the guitar at an early age and his musical prowess soon became evident. He was deeply influenced by blues music and its genres music as an artist lasted through rock, blues rock, blues and psychedelic rock. Clapton has been included in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on three occasions.

Clapton began his musical career with the rock band The Yardbirds in 1963. He soon left the band in 1965 because they believed that their sound is very pop oriented. As a blues guitarist, Clapton was uncomfortable with the overtly pop nature of the Yardbirds.

After leaving the Yardbirds, Clapton joined John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers. This batch had a great influence on him and helped him become the quintessential blues guitartist we know today. But within a year, Clapton left the Bluesbreakers to form the band Cream in 1966. In front of Cream, Clapton began to develop his skills as a singer and songwriter with the management of the guitars. The Cream of the band was very successful since its inception, but they separated in two years in 1968.

Eric Clapton has been playing with a number of groups and soloists since then, launching a series of albums that covers genres of rock, blues rock and psychedelia. Some of his best known songs are 'Layla', 'Tears in Heaven ',' Crossroads 'Wonderful Tonight' Cocaine 'and'.
