I want to go to Finland next Christmas – that the area is best?

After Christmas shit this time we want to go somewhere with lots of snow. We do not want skiing – only a log cabin, fireplace and some good restaurants, and vacation packages are one or two "big five nights!!

Hmm … I've been to Helsinki, once in December and once in midsummer. Torku and also visited the islands in summer. I've heard of Rovaniemi, if you really want that the country rustic, yet the only real Santa Claus experience. I have also heard many of their faces and foreign (Japanese) tourists. But keep in Finland has very long (like 10 or more hours at the Arctic Circle area, it becomes more of -20 C in the north sometimes … that's why I prefer the south .. if you want be close to civilization, nightclubs, bars and restaurants … I saw a Christmas market in Helsinki was really nice. The people were very friendly and very exciting in a big city if you want to meet people, in addition to their hotel, you probably have a sauna. If you have a couple of large to pass can probably be anywhere you want, and maybe rent a car and a cottage somewhere near a city is a good solution for you. But I recommend most of the south coast, to facilitate connections reachign travel and destination.
