Fall Wine Festival – October

Followed closely by the Bounty Fall Festival (see below), the Autumn Wine Festival is an opportunity to celebrate the harvest of grapes (and perhaps in the field with some of the work). Vineyard tours, meals in fine restaurants in Sun Peaks, workshops, art and music: All elements essential to the cultural life of Sun Peaks' are included in more than 165 events over ten days. The Autumn Wine Festival is scheduled from 1 to 11 October, 2009 and September 30 to October 10, 2010.

Bounty Fall Festival – October

Sun Peaks Resort welcomes Yeara the third year this fall Bounty, which offers up the best of art from the region, the wine and food in a window of three days.

Sneak Peeks As the new vintages that are produced by the local wineries, there are more relaxed event for a group of young professionals, with local wines that were associated with tapas prepared by some of the best Area chefs. Five-star finger food coupled with five-star wines – a need to relax after work. Bounty Fall Festival will be held October 9 – 2009 11.

Winter Wine Festival (Formerly Icewine Festival) – January

This unique festival mixes Sun peaks ski spectacular wine equally remarkable touchdown zone traditions. Enjoy the region's best mixes in the fresh air of the snowy mountain Sun Peaks Resort, are housed, guided and taught by some of the best chefs in Sun Peaks', sommeliers and winemakers. The Festival also long event has been extended one week. The 12th Editing Winter Wine Festival will take place from 16 to January 24, 2010 and will include seminars, dinners Winemasters', the taste of Sun Peaks, the progressive tasting, along with new events, like cocktails.

Spring Wine Festival – May

With over a hundred events, the Spring Wine Festival is a gastronomeÂ's delight. Designed to blend the unique flavors of wine and food produced in and around Sun Peaks, the festival is a great way to celebrate the beginning of the season growth. The Spring Wine Festival will be held from 29 April to May 8, 2010.

Summer Wine Festival – August

For anyone interested in the process of winemaking (and sampling the finished product!) the Sun Peaks Summer Wine Festival is a necessity. Just as the events quietly in restaurants local, enjoying the best food, wine and art in the region has to offer, festival-goers can attend seminars and workshops that provide a fascinating behind Chambers understanding of wine, or a crash course in wine tasting. The Summer Wine Festival also includes activities in the mountains, giving a new appreciation what is known as a ski resort. Think of the wildflowers and sunshine – Bliss. The next Summer Wine Festival is scheduled for August 5 to 7, 2010.

Sun Peaks Wine and Culture Festival – July

It lasts for three days, the Festival combines wine culture and the arts, crafts, music and wine in a full calendar of events and workshops. The main themes of the festival is classical music, art exhibitions and – of course – tasting the best wines of the region accompanied by tapas. Public participation is encouraged, with chairlift rides start followed by sumptuous dinners, banquets, tours of local restaurants where artists exhibit their work and tour guests can eat and drink their way through some of the best areas, or simply relax with the classic sounds of the quartets, quintets and orchestras in the town square.
