When most people hear the word Australia is often thought in the Outback or the big cities like Melbourne. However, Australia is known for something much more that makes it truly unique, great skiing. Since there are numerous ski resorts and runs than the beginner to the advanced skier there is a challenge. As a result this, there are numerous ski resorts that can give you a sense of stark beauty that Australia is known for with the feeling of winter.
Charlotte Pass
Located in the Snowy Mountains ski area of the station is in the city of Charlotte Pass Village. The area is completely snowed in winter This means that the transport of snow is needed to pass into and out of Charlotte. However, once the station is evident that the entire city has become virtual ski area, you can literally ski to your front door to the elevators. This provides visitors from all walks of life to experience winter that is hard to find in many parts of the world as the great interests have marketed the sport. At Charlotte Pass, you can see what it feels like to ski 50 years ago when they met many areas to be inaccessible during the winter.
Dinner Plain
This ski area is a little over 5.5 hours from Melbourne. However, skiing is well worth the trip to the station catering mainly to beginners as evidence by all races in that skill levels. The complex is located in the Victorian Alps and can provide all of that general feel unique classical architecture in Australia with the wonderful beauty of Victoria.
It is clear that Australia has ski slopes for skiers of all levels. During winter the snow several reports indicate snowfall amounts similar to what they live in popular areas in the northern hemisphere. This, together with a feel a bit is what makes skiing in Australia, well-kept secret that only continues to build a great grass roots following.
